So as some of you may know I was a very dedicated gym-goer in the lead up to my wedding, I reached my goal just in time and my fitness levels were better then ever.
However, as soon as the wedding was over and the honeymoon blues set in I totally stopped going to the gym and the determination just wasn't there anymore. In November I went back to the gym and have been taking it quite easy up until now but I am ready to get back to feeling strong and fit again!
When Penneys approached me to collaborate with them on their Primark, Set, Go Campaign I jumped at the chance. It will involve a series of workouts, Motivational talks, wellbeing, mindfulness and healthy eating so I thought it might help give me the kick start that I need.
Yesterday was the first of the events and it was very cool! It started off with an inspiring talk with Coach Kavanagh , coach to Conor Mc Gregor and as some of you may know also brother to snapchat star James kavanagh. I left the talk feeling motivated and ready for our workout with the guys from Fit Vision, the whole idea of this was to really put the Penneys workout gear to the test and we REALLY did!
The class was intense to say the least and involved a mix of boxing and HIT. To finish off the day we had a cooking demo with Indy power better know as The Little Green Spoon. In less then an hour she showed us 4 quick and easy healthy recipes, all of which I wrote down so I will share them with you all too.
It was a really fun day and was full of surprises which I loved and am looking forward to the next one already!
